To determine how many messages you may need is
as easy as 1,2,3,4,5:
1. Determine how long it will take
the person to complete the event.
2. Divide the time from step 1 by
the frequency of the updates desired.
3. Decide the time to delay your
first message+++, and subtract
the appropriate number of messages from the number in step 2.
4. Use the On-Demand pricing
to determine the cost of how many messages will be needed.
5. Add $1.00 service fee for setting
up scheduled Split Times Messaging.

Bob will take 3 hours to complete a
marathon.
You want update every 20 minutes.
You do the math...
just kidding! 3 messages every
hour for 3 hours = 9 messages.
Bob will NOT get to the first checkpoint or split for at least 30
minutes.
You do not need any updates for for 1st 30 minutes, so subtract 2
message
That leaves you with needing 7 Split Times scheduled messages.
Using the above On-Demand pricing...
The cost for 7 cell phone messages is $6.00. The cost for 7 Email
messages is also $7.00
Add the $1.00 Scheduling service fee, and you get $8.00 total.
But, Bob is getting older and not as fast he once was, you may
want to get a few extra messages |

Split Times Messaging from Computer Comfort, Inc. Everybody wins! In
addition to having your participants, family and friends get updates of the
event, Computer Comfort, Inc offers discounts or revenue sharing
options to the Event/Organization and Timing Company.
- ++ Making an
On-Demand request will reduce the the number of
remaining scheduled messages e by 1 each time you make an On-Demand request.
The request will not change the schedule frequency or the time on the next
scheduled message

Delay your first message: If person you are getting Split Times
Messages from will take 3 hours to complete the event, you will not
need any Split Time Messages until after she/he crosses the first
timed checkpoint or split.
